TRACEY LINDSAY. Shell Rimula Hall of Fame Inductee 2026

Tracey grew up surrounded by the rich transport legacy of Lindsay Bros Transport, spending her childhood at the Boambee depot where trucking was part of everyday life. From the age of eight, Trace could be found helping around the office, making coffee, stuffing envelopes, franking mail and lending a hand wherever she was needed.

After leaving school at 18, Trace joined the business full-time and worked across virtually every area of administration. Beginning on the switchboard and in accounts, she moved into the transport office, managing the North Coast Cranes division.

In the mid-1980s, Trace became Sydney Depot Manager at Homebush Bay, where she played an important role in securing approval for Lindsay Bros’ first fully coupled B-double combination to operate between Flemington Markets and Homebush Bay.

After stepping away to raise her sons, Trace retired from the company in 2001. However, her passion for the people and history of the industry only grew. Today, Trace travels throughout New South Wales and Queensland reconnecting former drivers, staff and family through Legends Luncheons and Dinners and keeping the Lindsay Bros legacy alive. She intends to keep doing it “until the last man is standing.”
